MLB Construction wins bid to build Center for Integrated Sciences

The contract for the construction of the first phase of Center for Integrated Sciences (CIS) has been awarded to MLB Construction Services of Malta, New York. The firm also managed the construction of the Hillside apartments, Sussman Village and the Arthur Zankel Music Center.

Construction of the $67.5 million North Wing in the first phase is set to begin next month. The building is expected to open in September 2020.

CIS, a state-of-the art transformational learning space, is designed as a hub where unique interdisciplinary connections between and among the sciences, arts, humanities, and social sciences will thrive.
